I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio where I have resided for 57 years. I serve our Lord and Christ Jesus,
at Prevail Church of Akron under the Pastoral care of Michael Murphy. I have served in various
ministries over the last three decades leading Sunday school classes, women’s ministry and bible
studies, and sharing my journey with Christ in small group and individually with folks giving them the
opportunity to accept and know Christ personally.

I have spent the last 25 years in the Hardwood Flooring industry serving Williams Hardwood Flooring of
Akron since 1998 and as the Vice President since 2007. Recently, I have been nominated and awarded
the Achievements in Excellence™ Award by the National Sales & Marketing Executives™

My greatest accomplishment is the success of single handedly raising two children, Jacob 27 and Jada 22
into adulthood with the unmatched guided counsel of the Trinity. The testimonies I have!…..

I have been part of LOGOS Bible Institute since the early 2000’s and recently graduated in 2021! I am
currently enjoying the journey of study in Grasping God’s Word. This coming semester, Spring of 2023, I
look forward to instructing from the book The Foundation of Chaplaincy in the CIP program as well as
the book Teaching to Change Lives: Seven Proven Ways to Make Your Teaching Come Alive in the Bible
Institute workshops.

I enjoy studying God’s Word and reading other’s works, eating out, traveling, and my favorite past time
is spending time with family and close friends
