Course Description:
The purpose of this series is to encourage the development of biblical, historical, theological, and pastoral works that analyze the role of the churches and other religious movements in the liberation struggles of blacks in the United States and the Third World. What is the relationship between black religion and black peoples’ fight for justice in the U.S.? What is the relationship between the black struggle for justice in the U.S. and the liberation struggles of the poor in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean? A critical investigation of these and related questions will define the focus of this series.

This class meets bi-weekly on Saturday

All classes will be virtually via Zoom
Class Fee(s):
Black Theology, Black Church is only $100 per semester. Or you may enroll in all classes for $350 per semester which includes three core classes, (Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey and Systematic Theology) and three electives which includes Black Theology.
