Making the Connection: A Learning and Networking Opportunity
for Behavioral Health and Faith Leadership in Summit County
Change Direction focuses on changing the culture of mental health in America so that all of those in need receive the care and support they deserve.
As a follow up to “Bringing Mental Health to Main Street” which encouraged everyone to KNOW THE FIVE SIGNS and to continue on-going dialogue, the Change Direction Faith Subcommittee will be hosting a Cross Systems Training for faith leadership and behavioral health service provider leadership.
The goals of this event are:
- To provide information across sectors in regards to the resources available
- To address barriers to helping our community struggling with behavioral health issues
- To Identify practical solutions to shared concerns
- To make meaningful connections to help facilitate the work in both sectors.
We recognize that many of the individuals and families we support are engaged across many systems, none of which can be successful in a vacuum. Spirituality and treatment services can be complimentary assets in a person’s recovery journey and promote well-being and resiliency in our community.
We invite you to continue the conversation and help make a difference in Summit County.
