Grace Primitive Baptist Church was founded on April 10, 1977 by Pastor Gregory F. Clark, Sr. with three Charter Members, Eva Lee Clark, Theresa A. Jones and Maebelle Clark. Services were originally held at 7021 Colfax Road in Cleveland, Ohio.
Our purpose in 1977 was to win lost souls to Christ.
Our Ministry Purpose today: On One Accord Ministry exists to support and equip Christ’s followers, to reach the lost, to serve those in need, and to display the love of Christ to others, both individually and as a body of believers.
Everything that On One Accord Ministry does is founded upon the Truth set forth in the Bible, which is living, and active and sharper than any two-edged sword. (Hebrews 4:12)
Because these beliefs serve as the bedrock of our ministry (Matthew 7:24), everyone involved in our ministry is expected to act in a manner that promotes and supports these beliefs.
We have not lost sight of our goal. We realize that with God all things are possible. Grace was founded on the following fundamental truths:
1. We would be a Christ Centered ministry.
2. We would be a Bible Believing ministry.
3. We would be a Bible Teaching ministry.
4. We would be a Faith operated ministry.
5. We would be a Called Out, Separated ministry.
6. We would be an Evangelistic ministry.
These fundamental truths are important because they explain the very basis for which this ministry continues to experience God’s Blessings in seeing souls saved, lives changed and helping Christians grow spiritually.
Striving to be far more effective in demonstrating all six fundamental truths, a transformation began. On Tuesday, September 26th 1995 it was decided that Grace Primitive Baptist Church needed to be true to the call of Mathew 28:19-20 and it should, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…teaching them to observe all that I command you. Based on “The Great Commission” we should become more active in outreach.
Additionally, it was decided that since there were no less than (24) twenty-four churches or ministries named Grace perhaps to be “a called out ministry” we should consider another name; no longer primitive more non-denominational On One Accord Ministry was born.
