Norris was born and raised in Cleveland, OH.  He graduated valedictorian of Warrensville Hts. High School in 1982.  He, then, attended the University of Cincinnati, where he obtained his BS degree in Chemical Engineering in 1987.  He retired from the Lubrizol Corp. after 32 years of service in 2021.  

Norris went into the ministry in 2005, under the leadership of Pastor Nathaniel Bolden at the Anathoth Missionary Baptist Church.  After the passing of Pastor Bolden, Norris became pastor of Anathoth MBC in 2015.  Norris is a 2021 graduate of the On One Accord Bible Institute, where he continues to takes classes.  Norris yearns to continue growing in the knowledge of God; he also enjoys fellowshipping with like-minded servants of oour Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

Norris is married to Cecelia Davis-Bolden, and has two sons, Desmond & Julian.  Although formally retired, Norris currently drives for his wife’s transportation company, and enjoys not only getting his clients to their medical appointments on time, but getting to talk with clients about the goodness of God while on the way to and from their appointments.  

In their spare time, Norris and Cecelia like to travel whenever, wherever, and however they can travel!
