Tammie S. Jones, MS recently served as the Project Director for the Office of HIV/AIDS Services at the Cleveland Department of Public Health where she worked tirelessly to eradicate the HIV/AIDS epidemic in her community for the last 17 years. Tammie has a passion for education and believes in sharing knowledge that allows people to access the resources needed to make informed, healthy choices. Tammie managed multiple grants that supported HIV/AIDS and STD related services and activities of prevention, education, awareness, testing and housing in the Greater Cleveland region.
Tammie being a lifelong Clevelander has over 20 years of professional experience in health education, particularly training, program development, and administration. Tammie provides leadership to many by serving on several community health boards. She has been recognized with the Award of Excellence, Award of Gratitude and has been honored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for her leadership in the “Take Charge, Take the Test Campaign”.
Tammie’s leadership skills can also be attributed to her service for the building of the Kingdom. She has previously served as Chief Administrator, Chief of Christian Education and Bible Study Teacher for new members. Tammie wholeheartedly believes in servant leadership.
Tammie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Toledo and a Master’s degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and is a certified Mental Health First Aid. She enjoys traveling, entertaining and spending time with family and friends.
