The Reverend Jackie D. Caddiell was born on March 31, In Birmingham, Alabama. During the 60’s he moved to Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from East Technical High School, and went to work at General Motors where after almost 40 years of employment he retired.  Brother Jackie went to Central Christian Church where he came to know Christ in 1980. In 1985 he  answered his called to Preach the Gospel.  In 1997 he became a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church and was ordained in October 2000.  His love for the Lord lead him to enroll in online theological classes at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois.  Additionally, he attended Evangelical Training Association in Foundational Church Ministries in 2003.  Rev. Caddiell continues earning college credit toward a Bachelor of Bible Theology. Some of the courses he has completed include, Survey of Bible Doctrine I & II, Elements of Bible Study, Pauline Epistles 1, Christian Missions, Communication of Biblical Truth, Bible Introduction, Principles of Evangelism and Discipleship, Hermeneutics/Bible Study Methods, Educational Foundations, Church and Its Doctrine, Interpersonal Ministry Skills, Doctrine of Salvation, Joshua and Judges, Luke, and, Growing Toward Spiritual Maturity.
